Looking for info on Margaret L. (Lou, or Lulu) BULLINGTON, my
ggrandmother. According to 1900 census in Lamar Co., TX, she was born in
1854 in AL, father born in NC, mother in SC. Family pictures say she was
from Russell County, and was probably at least part Native American
(family legend was Cherokee). Her marriage to Tinie J. (or Terry Joe)
Benson was recorded in Washington Co., MS "colored" marriage
records. Have reached a dead end, and would appreciate any clues.

George D. BOOKER was born in Phenix City on December 7, 1899.
He was the adopted father of my mother and aunt while living
in Portland, Oregon in the 1940s. While not a blood relative,
he was always "grandpa" to me. Would appreciate news from any
living relatives or parallel lines. I'd like to honor George
by making sure he has a place in the family tree.

I am looking for information on the DAVIS family that lived in
Glennville, Russell Co., AL. My Grandfather was William Henry DAVIS who
was married to Mary Ina BURT. William's father
was John Gardner DAVIS who was married to Sara Louisa OWENS, the daughter
of Rev. James Nehemiah OWENS. John's father was Gardner Henry DAVIS, who
was married to Mary Martha TRICE.
Gardner's father was John Gardner DAVIS who came from VA to NC to GA to

was known as Davisville, possibly because the
eleven Davis children settled within walking distance of one another. I
would love to hear from anyone with any information on this family!
