About the County Coordinator
My name is Dee Pavey, and I serve as the volunteer County Coordinator for Meade County as part of the KYGenWeb and USGenWeb Projects. I have long-standing family connections to Kentucky and a deep appreciation for the role this state has played in the settlement and movement of families throughout the region.
Although I do not currently reside in Meade County, I am committed to preserving and sharing genealogical resources that can assist researchers who are exploring their Meade County roots. My work focuses on organizing records, locating online resources, and helping researchers understand where and how records were created.
Research Assistance
I regret that I am unable to conduct on-site or commissioned research for individuals. However, I am always happy to help point researchers toward the correct repositories, record types, and online resources that may assist them in their own research.
If you have a question about available records, how to begin researching in Meade County, or where a particular type of record may be found, please feel free to reach out.
