Am at a standstill. GGgrandfather William Charles KELLY born Russell
County AL, Oct 17, 1843. Parents John William KELLY and Sarah Caroline
MARTIN. Would like to know if other KELLY's existed in Russell County at
this time, did my family live in Russell County or just passing through
when born, any information if possible. GGGgrandfather JW had three
brothers and four sisters; unable to find any information other than
names of WC's parents. John and Sarah married 1840 unknown where. If

SC around 1836 to the Russell Co., Al area. William settled in the area of
Russel that later became Lee Co. William Welsh b. 1802 m. Susannah Chester.
He died in 1877. Susanna was the daughter of Ezekiel Chester. Who were William's
parents? Need information on this WELSH/CHESTER family. Please help.

families of Daniel H. WILLIAMS (b. ca 1785 SC, died after 1850) and wife
Sarah (b. ca 1785 SC, died after 1850) who appear in the 1850 federal census
of Russell Co., AL. Their son Eli R. WILLIAMS married Martha Ann GRIZZLE
in Russell Co. 27 Mar 1844 and moved to Butler Co., AL along with some WILLIAMS
siblings before 1860.

for what became of Charles W. FULLER (b. Sep 1822, Person Co., NC) who came
to Russell Co. in about 1850 with all his brothers and sisters, and his father,
Bradshaw FULLER. Settled in Crawford, Russell Co. Wife Mary A. (MORGAN) FULLER
(b. May 1830, Person Co., NC). They are both listed in the 1900 Census in
Crawford. After that, I do not know what happened to them. Thanks.

:Searching for Shadrach & Mary JOHNS listed in the 1860 Russell
Co. Census, Seals Station. Shadrach & Mary had two sons and two daughtes.
Alice C. JOHNS, b. 1844, Thomas W. JOHNS, b. 1847, Henry J. JOHNS, b 1849
and Anna W. JOHNS, b. 1854. Alice C(atherine) is believed to have married
a Joel S. TOLER in Bulloch Co. on 30 Sept 1869, two children, Mary TOLER,
b. 1873 and William S(hadrach) TOLER, b. in April 1874. Shadrach JOHNS served
with the 24th Alabama Infantry, during Civil War, J. S, TOLER served with
the 29th Ala. Inf. In 1880, Shadrach, Henry Joseph and the two grandchildren
are back in Marlboro Co., SC. What happened to this family? If you have
information pleas contact me. Unable to locate in 1870 but believe to still
be in Alabama. Where are they buried? Was Henry Joseph in the war?

:Seeking information on Roxy Douglas and family who came to Russell
county in the late 1840's from Anson county North Carolina. Her husband,
Walter L. Douglas died soon after arrival in Russell county, about 1849.
Roxy raised eight children and died before March of 1868. Any information
will be greatly appreciated.
