Buckner's Station

A station on the L., C. & L. R’y and a small village in Oldham county, 5 miles southwest of Lagrange, the county seat and 23 north of Louisville. A steam saw-mill, 2 churches and a seminary are sustained by a population of about 200. Express Adams. Mail daily. W. A. Campbell, postmaster.

Cassaday R. B., physician

Hitt James, blacksmith

Johnson M. F., saloon, livery and hotel

Reeves J. L., Principal Seminary

Russell John, grain and live stock

Shake John M., wagon-maker and grape-grower
