Beard's Station

A station on the L., C. & L. R’y and a village in Oldham county with a population of about 150. LaGrange, the county seat is 9 miles north and Louisville, the nearest bank location, 18 miles south-west. A church and public school are here. Products are live stock and produce. A good opening is here for a flour and grist-mill. Express Adams. Mail daily. C. M., Crum, postmaster.
